New Way of Life
Needs are great – here at St. Francis and out
there in the world.
God blesses us abundantly and invites us to use
all we have – not just the leftovers – in love for
Him and his people.
All those wonderful gifts we have are meant to
be shared over and over until they multiply and
spark stories of God’s goodness everywhere.
Stewardship is a way of life – something we
practice in a dozen little ways each day and a
few big ways each year. The best part is that,
as we place our trust in the Lord, when we give
for the pure joy of sharing, it changes us –
changes our hearts. True Stewardship as a way
of life changes us from giving to a need,
into needing to GIVE!
Then everything changes...

New Commitment
What if this year, instead of just checking a
box to mark the amount of your financial
pledge to St. Francis, you challenged
yourself to do a little bit more?
Maybe you would increase that
pledge. Or contribute to a special
project or program at St. Francis
that could benefit from a little
extra financial support.
You might take time to name your
own talents, those special gifts God
gave you. Maybe you would ask,
how best could I nurture one of those
talents this year? How could I bring into
bloom what God planted?
Stewardship is responding – choosing to tend
what has been given over to our care, holding
ourselves accountable for helping it thrive. |
"Every good and perfect gift comes down
from the Father who created all
the lights in the heavens."
- James 1:17
