Meditation for Those Who Can’t
— Led by Wendie Brannen and Roz Goudeau
People often think they can’t meditate because they can’t stop their mind

from thinking. This group will explore different forms and traditions of

meditation. Come find a way to quiet your mind.

Meets Sundays (4 weeks beginning August 28) from 4-5:30 pm in the

    downstairs classroom at St. Francis.

SIDETRIPS:

"Saturday Night and Sunday Morning: A Father/Daughter Musical Conversation" between Dr. Don Saliers, a Distinguished Emeritus professor of Theology and his daughter, Emily Saliers, known throughout the world as one half of the folk rock duo Indigo Girls. They wrote the book read in a previous Journey Group “A Song to Sing, A Life to Live”. Free event on Saturday, August 27 · 7:30pm - 9:30pm at Mulberry United Methodist Church.

Well-known Celtic Spirituality author and speaker Philip Newell will be speaking at the Cathedral of St. Philip on Saturday, October 8. We hope to offer a Celtic spirituality Journey Group in the near future – this would be a great lecture to attend before the group.
